Born to Angel Duran and Ana Abreu on November 7, 1974, Ricardo Rafael Duran spent his life loving those around him and bringing light and happiness to all that knew him. From his beginning in New York to his life in Miami and his time in Oklahoma, Ricky or Rich (depending on who you ask) was loved by everyone who met him. He was always energetic, charismatic, and full of love to share.

He spent his life dedicating it to teaching others about the love he had in God and the love he has for those around him. He was always there to lift a heavy heart in time of need. Whether through his music, his college band, his jokes, words of encouragement, or through the power of his prayer, he was always there when you needed him.

To all that knew him, he left a mark. Ricky was the type of soul we only get blessed with every so often. He was kind, gentle, and full of compassion. He was an amazing soul and he loved deeply. His wife Kristine, was loved beyond measure by him. They loved and lived together and shared a bond that many can only hope for.
